Be a responsible hobbyist...

Never release fish into the wild. This may seem like the best thing to do but keep in mind saving the life of one endagers the entire population of all of the fish. You could introduce a disease and wipe out 100's of fish trying to save a few. Be a responsible hobbyist.

Never release plants into the wild. Invasive plants are one thing and should not be kept by the hobbyist nor released because of obvious reasons. Other plants, even rare beautiful ones should not be released because of negative impacts on the ecosystem. It is easy to overlook this huge consequence. Be a responsible hobbyist.

Be aware of pond runoff. Make sure your invasive species are not being washed away into nearby water ways. Make this an issue when designing your pond. Be a resonsible hobbyist.
